Cycling holidays and accomodation

The purpose of this page is to provide information and links for cycling related accommodation and holidays.

Bicilettas Pollensa
Philip Todd had to create and publish a website for his Bronze award with Duke of Edinburgh. And what better subject is there than cycle training routes from a base in Puerto Pollensa, Majorca? Possibly something about that glued on little white number that Kylie wore in one of her videos might run things a close second. But unlikley. Have a look and see what the lad has put together.
Updated Nov 2013 All routes now have Garmin mapping.

La Manga Bike Hire
If you're going to the Murcia/La Manga area then you'll want a bike. Speak to Geoff and he'll sort you out. Good bikes at good prices. Some cracking roads in that area. As used by Toddy.

La Manga Cycling
Fancy a training camp or guided tours around the Murcia area of Spain? Steve and Jack are the people to contact. Nice roads, nice terrain, nice blokes. Can't ask for any more than that. Recommended by Toddy.

Cycle Hire in Majorca
Based in Puerto Pollensa, Pro Cycle Hire specialise in top quality racing cycles. As used in the past by Toddy and colleagues on the Fat B'Stard tours. If you can't be arsed with risking your expensive piece of carbon fibre and having it trashed by baggage handlers, then Bruce is The Man.

Velo Ventoux
"Cycle on the moon". Visit Craig Entwhistle and his family about 20kms from the base of Mont Ventoux. An excellent B&B setup for cycling in this very picturesque area. You'll be well looked after both in the house and out on the road. As recommended by Toddy and a pile of other BMC members who stayed there in August 2007, August 2010 and the Coventry Tri-Guys in 2008.

Broad Park B&B, Gt Torrington, Devon
Riding the Devon C-2-C? The Sustrans Route 27 uses the Tarka Trail through this part of Devon and goes very close to here. Jane & Gareth provide a brilliant overnight stop off. As used and recommended by Toddy, July 2014

SportTravelling
Ride a 215km loop around the Costa Brava after flying into and out of Girona. Bikes, hotels, luggage transfers etc all included. Get some Spanish culture on the way. Sounds nice.
